Cedar Mountain Woodwrights came from a passion for artistic woodworking and high quality cabinetry. A family owned company, we operate on a small scale to maintain quality and service in historic Ellensburg, Washington with the help of our four employees. All of our custom cabinets are made from real wood and plywood materials, not particle board. The difference really shows over time, but you will see right away that our cabinets and furniture are made to last! We build our boxes from 3/4″ materials and usually integrate the finished panels into the cabinet construction. We use only the best drawer hardware and adjustable hinges to make sure you never have problems. Spec sheets are available for your projects to let you know exactly what you're getting.
We make each piece of custom furniture to fit your needs and not a production line! Because of the mark-ups in today's quality furniture market, we can often create your special piece for less cost than at the furniture store. We always welcome the creative ideas that our clients bring in and have done pieces from classical to retro, craftsman to modern. For some projects we turn our own leg designs on the wood lathe, therefore we can use any type of wood required for the piece.
