SkiHi has significant expertise in the BIM process and is often the lead BIM coordinator on major projects. Our goal is to stay on the cutting edge of this capability to minimize the waste of material and manpower in the field. To further our leadership position the industry we have purchased a FARO 3D scanning system. We will use this capability to assist in shop drawing preparation, as-built documentation and scanning services for owners, architects, engineers and contractors. SkiHi takes pride in maintaining full fabrication abilities in-house. We have multiple shops within our complex that focus upon sheet metal fabrication, piping and plumbing pre-fabrication and assemblies, as well as steel and specialty metals fabrication. As a result we are able to support all of our field installation capabilities with quality materials in a timely manner. Many of our projects have demanding schedules and occasionally special needs or circumstances arise that require a quick change of course.
SkiHi maintains a robust industrial construction department. We perform a wide range of projects under a variety of demanding conditions and time restraints. We have the ability to modify that "one of a kind" piece of equipment or perform a multi-million dollar expansion to a production facility. Our past projects include boiler replacements, production line modifications, waste treatment upgrades, structural repairs, architectural repairs and safety modifications, just to name a few. In addition to our in-house capabilities for all mechanical and plumbing work, we have extensive expertise in concrete, steel, masonry, roofing, drywall and a variety of finishes.
