Launched in 2002, Prairie Mechanical began with two men in service vans. Strategic acquisitions of Furey Sheet Metal in 2005 and Zabel Plumbing in 2008 allowed us to expand the services we provide to our clients. Today, we are proud to be one of only three full-service Mechanical Contractors serving the Greater Omaha Area. We offer a scope of work that includes Steamfitting, Sheet Metal, Plumbing, and Medical Gasses. Our fleet of service vans and welding trucks provide 24/7 emergency service and preventative maintenance.
Prairie Mechanical has working relationships with some of the most prominent general contractors and consulting engineers in the Greater Omaha Area. We are able to create a collaborative environment during Pre-Construction that focuses on delivering a project that best meets the project owner's needs. The owner can have confidence that they are getting a project that has found a balance of budget conscience, constructability, lifecycle cost, and ease of operation and maintenance. Our Lincoln team did a great job on this boiler job repairing failed valves and piping that required a temporary boiler during the install! Nick Hook, Heath Kloster, Brian Peters, Jeff Harter, Brent Ratzlaff and Jeremy Green made up the team that worked late nights and holidays in the cold and snow.
This last Saturday we had our 4th annual Breakfast with Santa event! We were happy to make a few adjustments and have a drive thru outdoor event rather than cancel all together! Santa even brought 2 of his reindeer. We loved seeing all of our loyal customers-some of them haven't ever missed this.
