I've been bringing my 16 month old to Stepping Stones since she was 5 months old- every time we come it's a new adventure and incredible to watch her explore and truly thrive in this incredible museum! It's our favorite place, hands down. The energy lab is worth the visit alone- not to mention the countless other great areas for children and babies of all ages to enjoy. We've been coming since before she could crawl and have always had a wonderful time. There is a space for every child or baby to explore and enjoy. Truly inclusive and a wonderful place. Bring an extra tee shirt for the energy lab!
My picky two year old son loved it, especially the Energy Lab! It was worth the 1 hour drive from Queens. Additional kudos to the cafeteria, with baked fries and chicken nuggets! We are definitely coming back.
The museum was nice but not organized, over crowded and over priced. We got there with our 2 yr old at 10 and the place was already busy, but not overly so. By 11:30, you could barely walk and the staff was not helping to keep the place organized. At one point, a child jumped in to the water table, splashing everyone around him and the staff just stood there, talking to each other. To pay $45 for an hour and a half visit, 30 minutes which was not enjoyable, was a huge disappointment.
