Schlouch Incorporated offers a full range of core site capabilities. Design, survey, erosion and sedimentation control, grading, shaping, earth removal, trenching and piping, blasting, curbing, paving and concrete are handled efficiently by SI's talented people and extensive fleet of late-model equipment. Adding to the reliability of Schlouch's site prep teams is the company's comprehensive service and repair shop and on-site maintenance program.

Schlouch Incorporated's in-house team of blasting specialists insure our ability to keep projects moving on schedule. From site drilling and blasting for bulk earthwork and utility trenching to small diameter quarry drilling for boulders and toe, Schlouch's blasting team meets the needs of developers, builders, general contractors and quarry owners.

Schlouch Incorporated has responded to the needs of the Natural Gas (Marcellus) drilling industry by providing specialized pad preparation teams backed by the Company's extensive site preparation experience. Teams are highly mobile and can serve the Appalachian Basin of Pennsylvania.

While many site preparation specialists out-source their paving assignments, Schlouch Incorporated extends its full range of services with its own in-house paving capability. Schlouch's paving teams handle all types of paving assignments including residential subdivisions, municipal, commercial, industrial, and PennDOT roadwork. Schlouch's paving teams can handle any size paving job from utility patchwork to high production overlays, maintenance programs, and new construction. Additionally, our teams have the necessary skills to pave sport surfaces such as running tracks, tennis courts, basketball courts and recreational walking paths.

Protecting the environment is everyone's concern, but it takes on even greater importance when it comes to preparing land for development. Schlouch Incorporated has always been sensitive to protecting the environment and has become proficient in helping its clients with wetland mitigation, erosion control and preventing sediment run-off. Schlouch's Erosion/Sediment Control Team gives the company better control over timing and job completion. The capabilities of the E&S Team include silt fence installation, pond baffles and hydro-seeding services.

To continue Schlouch's commitment to providing efficient, quality service during all phases of site preparation, SI's Concrete Team offers installation of foundation footers, concrete flatwork and specialty walls for commercial, industrial and institutional buildings. In addition, our Concrete Team performs slip-form curbing for residential and commercial projects. The Schlouch Concrete Team is staffed and coordinated by experienced concrete technicians and project coordinators who are supported by a company-wide computer, phone and radio system for instant communications.

Having our own surveyors on staff eliminates delays in getting projects started and keeping them on schedule. Schlouch Incorporateds use of Leica Robotic Total Stations, GPS (Global Positioning System) and fully equipped field vehicles ensure accuracy and problem-free excavation resulting in quality, productivity and savings on every job. Schlouch Incorporated has installed Trimble RTK Global Positioning Systems (GPS) throughout it's entire fleet of equipment including various models of scrapers and articulated dump trucks.

Schlouch Incorporated's Paving Maintenance and Repair program offers a range of services including crack sealing, patching, seal coating, overlays, line painting and curb and sidewalk repairs. Its Pavement Maintenance Planning program (PMP) inventories condition, use and repairs needed for all of your asphalt surfaces. We prepare a two to five year maintenance program for the inventoried areas, prioritize necessary maintenance and keep your surface in A-1 condition. With our professional maintenance services you will reduce potential liabilities, significantly extend pavement life, minimize structural failure and avoid the need for costly repaving.

Schlouch Incorporated's Small Projects Team can quickly respond to needs of general contractors, home builders, home owners and developers working on smaller assignments in the commercial and residential marketplace. Schlouch, with its own highly skilled operators and field coordinators, backed by a fleet of dedicated equipment, can swing into action safely and efficiently. On the job, the equipment operator plays a key role in communications between the company and the customer. Our Small Projects Team is perfect for commercial and residential jobs up to $1 million and 5 acres in size.
