ILSCO was originally known as the Incandescent Light and Stove Co., but today we make neither lights nor stoves. ILSCO is a third generation, family owned, vertically integrated manufacturer of electrical connectors and accessories. ILSCO's operations span three countries, with eight locations and over 1,000 employees and representatives in those countries. Seven Regional Distribution Centers service our customers across the United States. The acquisition of Surge Suppression, LLC (SSI), a pre-eminent supplier of surge-protection devices, positions ILSCO to provide more complete solutions to customers' electrical needs.

ILSCO has become an industry leader as a component manufacturer to the renewable energy industry. We provide grounding, bonding and connectivity solutions, and can design custom products for specific installation needs. Many of our solar connectors carry UL 2703 Certification for grounding and bonding on solar racking systems. Viritium plating sets us apart from competition, with the striking green color signifying ground points and aiding in visual inspection. ILSCO is the leading manufacturer of solar nodes for combiner boxes up to 2000 volts for unfused PV source inputs.

The industry journey for ILSCO began in the early 1900s when we introduced one of the first solderless terminals, now recognized as a forerunner of many modern connectors and still in use today. Our core competency began in the mechanical connector realm and has broadened significantly to include compression, grounding, power distribution, and tools, among others. Electrical contractors are critical to our success in this marketplace, therefore we continue to broaden and enhance our product offering.
