Our plan is simple: Bring American-made hybrid technology to the rest of the world, where renewable energy is needed for people who either have no electricity at all, or whose electricity is extremely expensive. WindStream Technologies' products are installed on rooftops around the world. Pictured here is our installation on a building owned by Jamaica Public Service (JPS), the Caribbean's premier national utility company. JPS distributes our products through their progressive "E-Stores", nationwide retail locations offering products with a commitment to reducing the energy bills of their customers.

WindStream Technologies, Inc. was established in 2008 with the goal of designing, prototyping and manufacturing affordable and scalable renewable energy technologies for a global marketplace. The Company has developed and tested the first-of-its-kind, integrated, hybrid energy solution and is now marketing and selling SolarMills to a worldwide customer base. In 2009, the Company set up its Research and Development facilities at the Purdue Research Center in New Albany, Indiana with an academic alliance with Purdue University and a generous grant from the State of Indiana.

Mr. Bates combines over 20 years of experience in the technology sector. Since 2008, Mr. Bates has served as President and CEO of WindStream Technologies, Inc., an alternative energy company focused on developing renewable energy products for urban and rural settings. Prior to joining WindStream, Mr. Bates was President of Avant Interactive, an Internet video company providing interactive video technology to television networks, advertising agencies and video publishers, from 2001 to 2006. Mr. Campbell has over 15 years of work experience in the private and public sectors, and extensive executive management experience in municipal government, international operations, business development, and finance.

WindStream's products are designed and manufactured in the USA with shipments leaving its North Vernon, Indiana facility weekly. The Company has developed an innovative line of hybrid (wind and sun) renewable energy devices that provide the greatest energy density of any product on the market. Explore our manufacturing facility in the gallery below.

In an effort to provide more consistent energy generation than a "wind only" or "solar only" system, WindStream Technologies has developed a first-of-its-kind, fully integrated, "HYBRID" renewable energy product, The "SolarMill." The SolarMill incorporates 3 vertical axis wind turbines (VAWT) with P.V. technology within a compact footprint, creating the greatest energy density of any product on the market. The hybrid concept of the SolarMill is unique, seamlessly integrating wind and solar energy generation in a single unit.
