Tristan Grimbert leads EDF Renewables' activities throughout North America overseeing three primary business lines: Grid-Scale Power, Asset Optimization, and Distributed Solutions. With 16 gigawatts (GW) of renewable projects developed, 11 GW of projects under service contracts, and 35 years of experience, the company is dedicated in its mission to deliver renewable solutions to lead the transition to a sustainable energy future, through the development, generation, operations and maintenance of utility, commercial, and distributed generation renewable energy projects.

The Asset Optimization team offers a full range of services for all phases of renewable energy projects - operations, maintenance, management, procurement, routine and emergency maintenance, retrofits and upgrades. Our experienced team of over 450 full-time technicians, managers, and support staff, means EDF Renewables is fully equipped to manage the balance-of-plant and day-to-day operations of your wind or solar project. U.S. wind power has more than tripled over the past decade, and today is the largest source of renewable energy in the country, providing 7% of U.S. electricity. The U.S. has enough installed wind capacity to power 32 million homes. Wind supports economic development, delivering over $1.6 billion every year in state and local tax payments and landowner lease payments. Wind supports domestic manufacturing with over 530 factories in 43 states employing 26,000 people. In total, the U.S. wind industry directly employs 120,000 workers.

Declining costs in available technologies have propelled interest in energy storage forward like never before. The price of lithium-ion batteries has fallen by about 80% over the past five years, enabling the integration of storage into solar power systems. And as communities and entire states push toward higher percentages of power from renewables, there's no doubt storage will play an important role.
