Recycle any and all of your old holiday lighting between now and Friday, January 29, 2021. Just drop your old lighting strands off at the RPU Service Center (4000 East River Road NE).

Most customers should be coming back on from the outage in SW Rochester. The cause was a top of a pole burned off, possibly due to a lightning strike, but still undetermined. Some customers may be out longer to allow for the safe repair to the infrastructure in the area.
We have been made aware of solar contractors going door-to-door around Rochester with possible financial and conservation results promised. RPU does not endorse or solely work with a contractor exclusively. A few recommendations from the energy experts at RPU if you do speak with them-
