Robot City Workshop

RobotCity Workshop was founded in 2008 as a headquarters for hobbyists, tinkerers, and do-it-yourselfers in Chicago. We quickly expanded our reach to include younger generations of robot fans by specializing in build-it-yourself robot kits. To guide these young students in building their kits and start them on their robotic journey, the shop soon began offering in-store workshops. In addition to the beginner workshops, a few specialty classes emerged, including an electronics soldering workshop and a two-part micro-controller workshop.

Robot City Workshop is in gear for all your building needs including robot kits, party supplies and project components. We carry a wide selection of DIY kits to purchase and take home plus lots of robot related goodies! In addition, we also sell a nice selection of individual components, bulk supplies and hand dandy tools for your own projects. We have educational workshops for ages five and up! Check out our beginner, intermediate and advanced level workshops to see which one is the best option for your needs. Five year old kids will have fun building simple DIY robot kits, while the more knowledgeable builder learns or enhances soldiering skills or programming with arduino microcontrollers.
