Tri Global Energy is a leading renewable energy developer drawing on the natural, renewable resources of the wind and the sun to successfully address the growing demand for clean and sustainable energy. Founded in 2009, Tri Global Energy is helping to lead the nation toward a cleaner and more sustainable energy future. Our success is derived from the power of local communities where we conduct business, our company leadership who develops unique partnerships and innovative programs, and our projects and our unlimited energy sources - the wind and the sun - which we develop to fulfill the energy needs for today and tomorrow.
Tri Global Energy was founded in January 2009 with a commitment to becoming a leader in the development of renewable energy sources that are clean and sustainable. We have done just that. Since our inception, we have initiated development of wind projects with the collective potential to generate nearly 6,000 megawatts of power. In 2014, Tri Global Energy concluded 520 megawatts of wind transactions and will commercialize approximately 2,000 megawatts cumulatively by the end of 2017. We currently have wind energy projects underway in Texas and New Mexico and have emerged as a solar energy developer and provider.
With a focus on the communities that host, co-sponsor and benefit from our projects, Tri Global Energy has initiated renewable energy projects located on thousands of acres of land with hundreds of participating landowners and community investors. Tri Global Energy's mission is to improve communities through local economic development generated by developing and commercializing renewable energy projects. As a leading wind developer in Texas and in the U.S., Tri Global has over 3,000 MW of development projects in financing, construction or operation.
