We are a family owned and operated business located in Missoula, Montana. Solar Plexus LLC began in downtown Missoula as a retail sales and installation of renewable energy equipment business in 1994. Started by Lee Tavenner and Mary Hamilton and joined by Rip Hamilton in 2000. We remain a retail store with renewable energy consulting, installation and customer service our priority.
Rip's background is in ranching and excavation. He came home with his family from Portland area to join the Solar Plexus team in 2000. Rip is married and has three daughters. Rip has a bachelor's degree in Business from U. of M. He's a hands on, "Just Do It" kind of guy. When things need to get rolling, he solves the problems, proceeds with caution and somehow it just gets done. His people skills, sense of humor and tact have been a great asset to our business these past eighteen years. Rip oversees installation, proposals, scheduling, inventory, site analysis and troubleshooting for all solar projects.
