Neil Petchers has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of NORESCO since 2005. Under his leadership, NORESCO has implemented major energy efficiency, renewable energy, and infrastructure upgrade projects for government and private industry clients throughout the U.S. and as far away as Guam, Alaska, and Japan. His projects have spanned more than 100 different modern energy efficiency and renewable energy technology applications, from high-efficiency chillers, boilers, HVAC and a range of conventional technologies, to innovative daylighting, cogeneration, fuel cells, wind turbines, and photovoltaics (PV).

NORESCO is continuously seeking to grow our national, diverse pool of suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants to implement and maintain energy-efficiency measures for our customers. Our projects range from single energy-efficiency retrofits to comprehensive commercial, governmental, institutional or campus-wide implementations and upgrades of energy infrastructure. We procure a full range of materials and supplies (including HVAC equipment, controls systems, and lighting and plumbing fixtures) in the delivery of our projects.

Our sustainability consulting services identify and integrate viable strategies to help clients achieve their sustainability goals, be they energy efficiency, operational cost savings, greenhouse gas reduction or occupant wellness. By applying theories from the Integrated Design Process, NORESCO helps project teams develop concepts and determine which concepts best meet the client's goals and align with their organizational values. From helping to improve the performance of building portfolios to working on federal courthouses, police and emergency personnel facilities, corporate headquarters and municipal office complexes, we take pride in projects that serve as examples to other public entities as well as the private sector.

Investment in renewable energy technologies is powered by concerns about the environment, energy security, and financial well-being. Driven by global demand, price uncertainty, and social impacts of fossil fuels, more business, institutional and governmental leaders are turning to renewables as part of their energy mix. NORESCO develops projects to include renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, geothermal, biogas, digester gas and biomass, that can be harnessed to generate electricity and produce heat and steam for our customers.
