Quelab

Quelab is Albuquerque's hackerspace. Our mission is to foster and sustain an environment that promotes creativity, invention, and collaboration at the intersections of science, culture, art, and technology. We support people inventing, learning, tinkering, and conducting citizen science. We host once a month where we open our doors to the public for tours and tinkering, held on The First Sunday of the month unless its a big holiday from 5:00pm - 10:00pm (Starting at 5pm is a potluck, 6pm a community planning meeting, and 7pm its like an open house, but more show and tell, hands-on).

Have you wanted to break into the world of programmable microcontrollers and hobby electronics? Do you want to get your feet under you with the help of fellow hobbists? Then join Quelab for an afternoon of Arduino learning, utilizing the Adafruit Learning System! Reservations close the Wednesday before, so we can have the Arduinos here in time. This class will come with an Arduino learning pack from Adafruit (containing LEDs, Jumper Cables, a breadboard, resistors, a USB cable, and an Arduino), and participants are asked to bring a laptop with the Arduino IDE installed (as of this writing, v1.0.6) available for Mac, Linux, and Windows here.
