It's been a tough year. Our ability to power through it will depend on all of us helping each other. If you could use a hand right now, whether it's a little extra time to pay your bill, or more significant assistance, get in touch. We'd like to help. In Oregon, we're experiencing the impact of climate change and we recognize the urgent need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. That's why we've set a new goal aiming for net zero greenhouse gas emissions companywide by 2040. Learn about how we'll get there.

Like our customers, we call Oregon home. For 130 years, we've powered our customers' potential with safe, reliable and affordable electricity. We are leading the way to cleaner energy for Oregon's future as we work to reduce greenhouse gas emissions associated with the electricity we serve our customers by at least 80% by 2030' as we accelerate our ambition, aiming to achieve companywide net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2040. We have also set an aspirational goal of achieving zero greenhouse gas emissions associated with the power we serve our customers by 2040.

Here in Oregon, we are seeing, feeling and experiencing the impact of climate change and recognize the urgent need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Clean, renewable electricity is at the center of an emissions-free future, and we know our customers - families, individuals, businesses large and small, and the communities where we live - expect us to reduce our emissions. And we will. But a crucial mission like this requires a tangible goal. To meet this goal, we'll transform every part of our business: from the power we supply to our customers, to the vehicles we drive, to the materials we purchase, to how we operate our buildings.

What's new?

With the help of our Green Future customers, nine local nonprofits are being awarded grants to support solar projects at their facilities. These grants will enable these organizations to provide locally generated, resilient and renewable energy that will benefit the communities they serve.
