The Town of Perinton is protected by various agencies that provide law enforcement, medical and fire protection functions to our residents. The entire Town of Perinton is protected by Perinton Ambulance. Perinton Ambulance provides Paramedic level care and has been serving the community since 1965. The Town of Perinton is divided into five fire protection districts. These districts are served by five different fire departments that provide fire protection to our residents. The following map indicates which areas of the town are serviced by which agency.
The primary responsibility of the Sewer Department is to provide technical guidance, and support services for the construction, operation, and maintenance of the Town's sanitary and storm sewer systems, as well as its' drainage network, including all stormwater management facilities/ponds. Under the direction of the Town Board, the Perinton Consolidated Sewer District (P.C.S.D.) operates approximately 184 miles of public sanitary sewer mains, 3,500 sanitary manholes, and 29 pump stations, which serve approximately 18,000 residential and commercial properties throughout Town.
