Aquattica was founded in January 2000 by a national pool equipment sales executive, a mechanical/structural engineer, and a USA Swimming coach.
Aquattica Pools & Water Parks was hired to design a swimming pool with multiple capabilities, such as recreation, instruction, and competitive swimming. The architectural firm Butler Rogers Basket hired Aquattica Pools & Water Parks as a subconsultant to provide a first class deep water swimming pool designed primarily for competition and water polo for their client, the Caterbury School. Aquattica was hired by Whitney Point Central School District to renovate their pool, including upgrading the pool's equipment and making sure the pool was in compliance with all current codes.
Gary Schultz brings over 28 years of experience in commercial poolbuilding to Aquattica. His efforts during that time have focused on virtually all areas of swimming pool design, engineering, construction, and related equipment. Schultz has successfully consulted on hundreds of projects with owners, operators, swimming coaches, architects, and engineers. His unique ability to work closely with committees, as well as with state and local code officials has been extremely beneficial for our firm and our clients.
