Since 2005 Aqua Leak Detection has been Southwest Florida's premier pool problem solvers. We have the tools and professional skills to get to the bottom of any pool issue from water loss to air in the system. We specialize in keeping water where it is designed to be. Don't let a pool leak rob you of enjoying your backyard paradise. We understand that diagnostic work for a pool leak can be expensive and stressful. You never know what to expect when you can't visually see where water is going under the deck.

Founded by Rob Angelo and Aaron Reynolds in the Summer of 2005, Aqua Leak Detection has since grown into the area's most reliable leak detection company. With a persistent desire to always improve quality and ability, Rob and Aaron have continued to nurture efficient and effective leak detection practices. We are proud of the high level of work that our technicians are able to provide. The goal since the start has always been to develop a system of processes to ensure that we find every leak at every job.

We dive every pool to perform an exhaustive inspection of the structure of the pool. As a part of this procedure, we will also look closely for possible points of concern to avoid future leaks. We pressure test every pool. This is a crucial part of our testing because it accounts for the pool plumbing that we cannot visually inspect. We use water & air pressure to test from the pool back to the pump. Our testing would not be complete if we did not carefully inspect the pool equipment for leaks of possible points of failure.

If you ever need a good story, ask us about the various items we have dislodged from pool plumbing. We have the proper equipment and experience to diagnose clogs and air in the pool system. Due to the variety of ways pools are designed and built, there are even more possibilities as to why your pool pump may not be priming or you are having flow issues. Give us a call, we are the problem solvers for the job. Below are a couple examples demonstrating that the craziest of scenarios can happen. The first picture is of a set of swimming goggles that made it almost all the way back to the pool pump!

Included in every inspection is a comprehensive visual examination of the pool surface. We look for; cosmetic or structural defects, possible points of failure, and any existing leaks. The only test we do not do visually is a plumbing pressure test. For this, we use specialized methods to test the pool plumbing from the equipment back to the pool to ensure there are no leaks underground. Long answer, no one does leak detections/inspections like we do. It is our sole focus and we have spent years perfecting our processes.

Evaporation?? Have you ever wondered if the water loss you have is a leak or evaporation? A good rule of thumb is that if your pool loses more than 1”-1.5” of water a week, you most likely have a leak!
