I didn't know who to call when our water leak came about. I initially looked on Nextdoor and went by faith as I decided to call them. Zeek and the other gentleman who arrived were pleasant and professional. From the time of arrival, through their work in progress until the completion they were a great team to work with. Their prices were reasonable too. They will be our new plumbing company. Thank you!

They fixed a simple leak back in May of 2020. That exact leak started up again. Now they want me to pay full price for something that they already worked on. I guess their work is only good for one year so buyer beware. I can't believe that they actually thought I would hire them again and pay them again to fix something that they already worked on. I guess that's how they stay in business repeat customers

Wonderful experience from my first call when I spoke to Nick who was so nice and quickly got me on schedule, to Kim who called to ask if the tech could come earlier than planned to the fabulous Rob who arrived with a big smile and fixed the problem in under 10 minutes. An absolute pleasure dealing with this great company.

Rob and Calvin were not only prompt, courteous and efficient, but they were able to explain the issue and quickly resolve the problem. I would recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing services great or small. I don't usually write reviews, but they were so good and informative I wanted to make sure they received the credit due. They were able to send someone out within 45 minutes if my SOS call on Friday afternoon. The plumber knew what to do and where to do it and got it done quickly and efficiently. Super grateful for fast response and courteous, professional work.

I live in a multiunit building, and property management called American Plumbing for damage downstairs. So I can't comment about speed of response or cost. But the leak was in a copper pipe in my wall, so I can comment about competence. I didn't even know that they were coming. Some mystery plumber showed up at my door, came in, looked at the wall, cut a few exploratory holes in it, and had the leak plugged within 5 minutes. Later, he came back (on time) with a buddy to replace the culprit segment of pipe. Nice guys, no drama.

Had issues with sewage line backing up and pouring in the yard and also washing machine grey water backing up in the garage. Was told that the issues were related. Had a tech come out to fix the sewage line issue, however the washing machine issue remained afterwards. Was a bit frustrated as I was told this was connected. Had the same tech come out the next day to clean out the sludge from the grey water line for the washing machine and they DID NOT CHARGE me seeing as they had to come back for something they said should have been resolved. Pretty impressed by that. I live in Santa Rosa and this was regarding my mother's house, but if I had a home in Antioch, I'd choose this company for its plumbing needs.

Thank God for American Plumbing
I really needed a plumber "FAST" and I called American Plumbing. Joe called me back within 20 minutes, I told him what had happened and he asked a few questions and told me he would be right over. Joe was very professional and repaired the problem within about 3 hours, he even took care of another problem I had. Joe knew his job and even cleaned up after he was done. Will call again if I need a plumber fast

I live in the outer part of Oakley, so it's $165 for a visit. But if you have to have repair they may wrap it into your bill. They were quick to make an appointment and the service was professional and well done and explained everything. I didn't feel I was overcharged for getting my water heater going again...

Our washer decided to go out on Saturday and when we disconnected it the hot water line did not want to turn all the way off no matter what we did. We spent hours going to Home Depot etc.... My husband finally was able to get the water all the way off and this morning I called American Plumbing and they were at my home within 1 hour and repaired at a VERY RESONABLE COST.

Earlier today I had to have my water heater replaced. I am so glad I selected American Plumbing to do the job. My first contact was on the phone with Kathy. She answered all of my questions and arranged a quick appointment to get the unit replaced. She is great in what she does. Rob and Jose arrived as promised and they are very professional. There was no short cuts and you could tell that they are proud of their work. I thank Rob for providing useful and helpful tips on how to keep the water heater system running problem free in spite of the Brentwood hard water. They cleaned up after the job. I have no reservations in recommending American Plumbing for anyone needing a plumber. Great job. Thank you

I have never had a better experience with any home repair company than I just had with American Plumbing. When we bought our house we understood there was root intrusion in our sewer line, so I made a point to get it checked this spring. I called the company that originally inspected the sewer line and the earliest appointment I could get was next week.
Curious whether another company could do it for cheaper, I searched NextDoor and found great reviews for American Plumbing. I placed a call, they took my name and number, and someone called me back within the hour. Not only would they snake the sewer line for $70 cheaper than the sewer company, they would be at my house that afternoon.
Blake came to my house, snaked the line, answered all my questions and gave me some advice about our downstairs toilet which has a weak flush. I was floored by his level of professionalism, knowledge and thoroughness; obviously this company cares about the quality of people they hire, and I understood why it has such a stellar reputation. If you live in Contra Costa County, do yourself a favor call these guys before anyone else. Ten thumbs up.

Our main water line developed a leak and we had to call a plumber immediately. My go-to plumber said that they would not be able to accommodate me us until the next week. We called around and American Plumbing was able to help us and come the same day. They stabilized the leaked and finish off the work the next day. Kudos to a job well done American Plumbing!
