We are a civil engineering and consulting firm serving a broad mix of residential, commercial, and institutional project needs throughout Texas and around the globe. Equipped with over 100 years of combined expertise, we remove the roadblocks and minimize the risks that often stand between our clients and a smooth, successful project. Since 1977, we've grown from a 2 man team of local public works engineers to a fully staffed firm with national and global reach. With expertise in civil, design, aquatics, planning and construction engineering services.

In the spring of 1977, Tom Barber, an architectural engineer completing a tenure as a presidential appointee in the office of U.S. Housing and Urban Development, teamed with a young civil engineer, Terry Brannon, with experience primarily in city (public works) engineering. Their intent was to meet an unresolved need in East Texas to serve small cities and rural counties with public works engineering services. The partnership, initially known as Barber-Brannon Engineers, expanded rapidly adding grantsmanship and architecture to the services provided to cities, primarily with a population of 10,000 and under.

What's new?

The City of Corpus Christi will have some great splash pads to offer residents this summer. Bill Witt Park, Lindale Park, and Salinas Park will all have fun in the sun once the warm temperatures return. A big shout-out to Progressive Commercial Aquatics on the construction!
