Edgar A Smith founded Smith Supply Company in 1961 in Austin, Texas. Shortly thereafter, a location was opened in Temple, Texas and the business was incorporated in 1978. Now all operations are exclusively in Temple. We are a locally owned family business. Our owners and corporate officers are Edgar A Smith, President/General Manager, Casey P Smith, Vice President/Store Manager, and Linda J Smith, Corporate Secretary/Accounting. We don't just do business here, we LIVE here! The retail store in Central Texas, located at 5202 Midway Drive in Temple, carries one of the largest selections of janitorial and pool supplies in Central Texas and is a major supplier of paper products.
