We believe that the most beautiful pool is the one in your backyard on a hot summer day. At Technical Pool Repair we specialize in making pools easy to use and cost effective to maintain. By focusing on repairs (as opposed to cleaning pools), we have accumulated more hands on repair experience than have the "do it all" pool guys. Thus, although our hourly rate is about $10 higher than the average, more in-stock parts, more experience, and more in-truck reference literature means that our repairs are often much faster (and therefore less expensive) than are our "cheaper" competitors.

Unlike most pool professionals, Technical Pool Repair does not clean pools. We spend 100% of our time doing repair and replacement work. This means that we have more equipment repair experience than does the average pool service person who spends 90% of his time cleaning. Whereas your average pool man might repair a few heaters a month, we repair a few heaters a day. As a repair-only company we are able to stock more parts on our service truck and complete more repairs in a single trip. In 2008, Technical Pool Repair celebrated 18 years of serving the Inland Empire of Southern California.

We repair, replace, and upgrade swimming pool and spa equipment. While we can provide free estimates over the phone to replace equipment, my fee to troubleshoot a technical problem and provide an itemized bid starts at $120 for residential customers. When it comes to repairing heaters, the diagnosis is often the most difficult part of the repair and requires the most skilled technician. At Technical Pool Repair, we are knowledge workers and we charge for what we know rather than our time to swap parts.

A pool equipment pad is not simply a collection of "the best" individual pieces of equipment. All the major manufacturers make good equipment. So how does one choose what equipment to install? It begins with seeing your equipment as a system. And, as a system, it must all work together. This means that a controller must be able to communicate with today's new variable speed pumps and color changing LED lights. It also means that the equipment is arranged so that it can be easily serviced. And, that things are properly sized to give the longest life and best meet the customer's needs.
