The City of San Dimas contracts with the Inland Valley Humane Society for animal control services. Established in 1949, the Inland Valley Humane Society is a private, non-profit, full-access animal shelter. It is a safe refuge, providing food, veterinary care, and attention to the animals that need it most, regardless of health, temperament, breed, or age. The Inland Valley Humane Society officers rescue wild and domestic animals in distress and transport them for medical treatment and shelter when needed, seven days a week and twenty-four hours a day.
