Prior to pool demolition draining the swimming pool is obviously one of the first steps. However, the timing of this step is crucial to prevent disaster. Often anxious pool owners prematurely drain their pool in anticipation of removing it. There are a number of reason why a well intentioned pool owners may think this is a good idea. Unfortunately sometimes the unintended consequence of doing this pops up.

We have been asked numerous times recently about how the pool demolition process may effect existing trees? Trees that are very close to the pool may have roots that have grown against the pool shell. if the roots are large (2 inch or more in diameter) its best to leave them in place and work around them.
