It all started in 2008 - we were two co-workers in the Hamptons swimming pool industry for 25 years together; when we decided to establish D&R Pool Services. Our passion for commitment and customer satisfaction with 35+ years experience positioned D&R as the Hamptons' industry leader in quality and innovation. Many of our clients have been with us for over 30 years. Based in Quogue - a small village on the south shore of Long Island, NY in the Hamptons. Our company operates out of facility off Industrial Dr. with a fleet of trucks available 6 days a week for your pool and spa service needs.

With our pool light repair service we can replace any traditional bulbs, existing LED light fixtures, or upgrade your old halogen system to a multi-colored LED system - add additional smart lighting throughout your pool for an exciting look! If your tiles are chipping away, or falling off - this is usually due to buildup of water behind the tile. This can be fixed by removing the concrete behind it, and re mortaring it. Please save your tiles, even if they are broken or cracked; sometimes we are not able to get matching tiles.

Pool resurfacing requires your swimming pool to be emptied. Re-filling can take an additional 24+ hours after the project depending on your pool size. There is also the option of having your pool filled faster with a water truck. Performing a pool resurfacing will take more than a few days, requiring emptying, resurfacing, filling, and aftercare. This process also requires multiple people performing the job to prevent the plaster from settling too quickly. This project must be scheduled during the right weather to avoid damage.

A pool opening typically takes multiple visits to your property; especially if the water upon opening is not in great condition. Normally pools that open clear take up to 4 visits including 2 cleanings; for speed and efficiency. So, if that party is coming up soon - we have time to make sure it is working mechanically sound, and get it 100% clear and balanced for you and your guests.

When pool season has come to an end turn to D&R for your professional pool closing. We winterize your pool so it's protected from the elements during the Hamptons' brutal winter conditions and perform any winter maintenance if it is needed. D&R closes some of the most sophisticated swimming pools year after year. It is recommended to schedule your pool closing 2 or more weeks prior to it actually being closed. Closing a clean pool will likely ensure a smoother opening process in the spring; we recommend having your pool serviced before the closing.

Is your spa cracking? Unfortunately if you have a fiberglass shell spa the cracks usually cannot be fixed, but possibly temporarily depending on it's age. At D&R, we take pride in keeping our customer's pools spotless. We provide weekly or twice-weekly pool maintenance service to rid your oasis of the muck that builds up from everyday use and natural processes. Our team treats your pool like it would be their own. In order to uphold our standard for crystal clear pools, it is required to get your pool serviced at least once a week. Anything longer can actually cost more in efficiency if the pool is not maintained properly. Having a party? We can do an additional service or attempt to move your service date the best we can.

If your spa cover getting old, cracked or heavy, it may be time to replace it. A failing spa cover loses efficiency and puts stress on the spa. We carry spa covers for all portable spas, solar covers for in ground spas, or automatic retractable spa cover systems. All spa covers must be measured properly, in accordance with the spa's corner size, flap size, and length/width. To increase efficiency and heat retention, it is best to get it professionally measured. As a carrier of automatic pool covers, get an automatic retracting spa cover for your in-ground spa.
