Payne's Parking Designs

Payne's Parking Designs, Inc., (PPD) incorporated since 1990, is a full service striping and signage contractor. PPD is pre-qualified and certified through the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) for both traffic signage and pavement markings. We are the only company in Northern Virginia to retain both qualifications.

Payne's began in 1989 by current owner Steve Payne. Steve had prior experience with his father and other parking maintenance companies but in 1989 he decided to start his own business. It began with one truck and one employee working out of Steve's home garage. Having soon outgrown the garage he then leased a 2000 square foot building located outside of Bealeton, VA and had 15 employees. In 1996 we purchased our current location in Bealeton, VA. An 8 acre site with approximately 30,000 square feet of office, warehouse, fabrication and maintenance space.

Our technical staff are certified VDOT Pavement Marking Technician (PMT), work site traffic control supervisors and flagging instructors. PPD managers, estimators and technical staff are knowledgeable of compliance regulations concerning sign fabrication and installation and pavement markings for both public and private sector projects. PPD provides services on many Federal, State and Municpal projects.
