Smoke Detector's should be tested and cleaned monthly, clean by blowing out the sensor with a hair dryer on the cool setting or a leaf blower. Dust, spider webs, or other small particles can build up on the sensors. Smoke detectors only detect smoke not carbon monoxide if you here chirping but can't determine where it is coming from, be sure to check carbon monoxide tester if you have one in your house.

Our power in our house had been acting funny for about 10 days. Lights flickering, power surges and outages but only in about 1/2 of the house. DPL took a look and said our breaker box needed replaced. It was arking and getting a little hot. We started calling Electrical Contractors for estimates. I left a message for Dillard to call me one evening. They called before 9:00 the next morning and wanted to come out a give me an estimate. The other estimates I had gotten, the contractor couldn't get to us for 3 or 4 days. Dillard took a look and he was really concerned and said it should be replaced today. He said this is not safe and should not be left this way. He gave me a price which was much lower than the other estimates I was getting and told me he could do it today. He said it needs to be done today, it's a fire waiting to happen. So I told him to go ahead. He got started on it within minutes. Worked nonstop with no lunch break and had it done by about 3:00 that afternoon. He cleaned up his mess, ran his shop vac and wet mopped my floor for me. They were great! Would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. And their price for the job was so reasonable. He cancelled other appointments he had today to do this for us. He didn't want us to stay another night in the house with it that way. Really an outstanding experience. I feel like he may have saved my home and my family from a tragedy. Great people!
