Carolina Paving of Hickory, Inc. began in 1964 under the name Carolina Landscaping. Eddie L. Huffman started Carolina Landscaping with one partner, one truck and one tractor. Carolina Landscaping was incorporated in 1977, and was renamed Carolina Landscaping and Paving Company, Inc.
