Concrete countertops have become increasingly popular because of the versatility and endless color and design options that they provide. Concrete is stain resistant, heat resistant and cost-competitive with other natural and synthetic solid surface countertops. We offer two types of concrete countertops: 1) cast concrete, and 2) concrete overlay. Cast concrete countertops are either pre-cast in a shop or built on site. Cast concrete is made of cement, lightweight aggregates and a combination of additives (which includes some type of reinforcement).

We offer three types of concrete stain or dye: acid stain, water-based stain and acetone dye. Which one we use for a particular project depends on the desired look, environment, condition of the existing concrete, desired turnaround time, among other factors. Acid stain is not a paint or coating agent, rather, it's a coloring process involving a chemical reaction on a cementitious material. Acid stain is a solution made with water, acid and inorganic salts that react with minerals already present in the concrete.
