Asphalt may seem like an indestructible material, but over time, it can begin to show wear and tear through cracking, raveling, potholes, etc. Asphalt patching acts as a band-aid for your pavement, fixing problems before they become costly. There are two types of patching asphalt repairs in pavement maintenance: Remove and Replace (R&R) and Skin or Surface Patching. When cracks are visible in the form of alligator cracking, potholes, sags, ruts, depressions and lateral displacement, the best option is to remove and replace patch the failed area.
Sunland Asphalt has been contracted to fix a few of the roads in my small town. Yesterday evening a crew was heading to their hotel (I assume) and they were driving down my street. A small plastic bag flew out of their truck. No biggie. The driver stopped the huge truck full of guys and went and picked up the small piece of trash. I was super impressed. It may not seem like much, but it was huge to me. Thank you for fixing our roads and helping to keep our community beautiful!
I want to thank Doug DeClusin and Sunland Asphalt for all they do to give back to the community. I run a charity, Lead Guitar, that provides free music classes in low-income schools.
