Turner Paving constructs concrete parking areas, sidewalks and driveways using proper base material and the correct mix of concrete required to meet your specifications. Concrete is an excellent alternative for long term investment creating a stronger wearing surface than asphalt. On average, it also lasts twice as long as asphalt with less maintenance. Although the initial investment is more, the long term effects are valuable to the cost conscious property owner.
This process completely reconstructs the pavement from the subsoil up, including base stone and asphalt. These are "recycled", avoiding the loss of the expensive initial investment. Mechanical Stabilization is economical because you do not tear out and haul away your original investment in asphalt and stone. In-place stabilization reuses your existing base material and asphalt wearing surface by pulverization with a Recycling machine. Portland Cement is then added along with water and mixed again; and, after compaction, will be used as the new load-bearing mass.
