Originally founded in 1958 as Howard F. Schetter Electric, Schetter Electric's history is deeply embedded in Northern California. Our company roots date back to the early 1900s when Mr. C.E Vorlander, Howard's uncle, first established Reliable Elevator and Electrical Works in Sacramento, CA. Steeped in traditions of quality, value, innovation, and building lasting customer relationships, Schetter Electric has continued its dedication to consistently provide superior-level service over the decades.

Our highly knowledgeable in-house design team combines an eye for innovation and a cost-effective mindset in all aspects of our electrical designs. We are always above and beyond the competition when it comes to design technology, resulting in a higher level of information accuracy, implementation of best practices and methodology, and ultimately, greater savings for our clients. With more than a half-century of experience, Schetter Electric has been a forerunner as a Design- Build firm.
