After working as a businessman under East Putnam Concrete for 3 Years, Donald Barnes renamed and incorporated the business as Barnes Concrete in 1970. With only three mixers and a small batch plant, Don and his wife Mary (who often ran the operation while he was on a job) built a business that has grown into the successful company it is today.
