J&S Asphalt is a subsidiary of Johnson & Sampson Construction, Inc. Since 1987, J&S Asphalt has provided asphalt maintenance in northern California for business owners, property managers, school districts, other contractors & residents. In 2001, J&S Asphalt added a concrete division to provide complete concrete services for all of our jobs. In 2010, J&S Asphalt expanded our services to include Nevada. We specialize in apartments, shopping centers, commercial facilities, driveways, small sites. No job is too small for us.
J&S Asphalt provides: new concrete installation, concrete replacement, concrete stamping and concrete coloring services. With a wide variety of concrete jobs ranging from tree root damage, trip hazards, all the way to new concrete construction, we have the experience and expertise to get any concrete job done right.
Seal coat is composed of premium quality 100% acrylic polymer, modified asphalt emulsion, aggregate, mineral filler (sand, slate, clay) petroleum additives and water. It is applied to existing asphalt surfaces by spreading a single or double layer by hand or by motor operated squeegee apparatus. After curing, seal coat provides a hard wearing protective surface. Seal coat should only be applied when the pavement surface temperature is 50 degrees or higher. Seal coat should not be applied if rain is falling or is imminent or if there is a chance of freezing temperatures with in 24 hours.
