R.J. Noble was contracted by the City of Tustin to complete the bridge that would connect Tustin Ranch Road from Walnut Ave to Warner Ave. We constructed a 400 ft bridge over Edinger, active railroad and a water channel. Included in the project was the construction of approximately 2.5 miles of new roadway which is now Tustin Ranch Road. R.J. Noble was contracted by the City of La Mirada to complete phase 3 of their residential street rehabilitation projects. The project includes removal and replacement of concrete improvements, installation of new storm drains, cold milling of the asphalt and installation of asphalt rubber hot mix throughout several of their residential streets.

The R.J. Noble Company has taken many strides to be better stewards of our environment. Along with our major investments in recycling technology we have also upgraded our Asphalt facilities to the latest and most efficient asphalt production plants; lowering our energy consumption, bringing down our emissions and giving us the ability to produce Warm Mix Asphalt. Our Orange Asphalt plant also employs a ACEMS system, constantly monitoring our air emissions and giving us real time data, ensuring we stay below all state and local emission standards.

Our portable CEI rubber plant gives us the ability to produce all types or rubberized asphalt concrete products either of our two asphalt facilities. Our rubberized asphalt concrete is blended to meet any applicable specification including the Standard Specifications for Public Works Constructions "The Greenbook" and the Caltrans Standard Specifications for work on State projects. Our rubber binder is produced with recycled California waste tires and meets the requirements of the CalRecycle grant program.

The recycling services at R.J. Noble has gone through a tremendous expansion in recent years. Starting with a small 75 ton per hour crusher in the late 1990's, the recycle crushing facility in Orange went through a series of upgrades finalizing in 2015 with a new state of the art dual stage crushing plant capable of crushing up to 450 tons per hour. We produce various recycled products including Recycled Asphalt Pavement (RAP), Recycled Road Base both Crushed Miscellaneous Base (CMB) and Class II Aggregate Base and have expanded the typical recycled construction debris products with our Crushed Concrete products including a 5/8" minus aggregate and a 3/8" minus Fill Sand facilitating a whole new market for recycled products in our industry.
