P&M Reis Trucking is a family owned business formed in 1955 by Myles and Priscilla Reis. The Company's core services from the outset were residential and commercial rubbish removal and excavation. Through the company's evolution, general trucking and freight delivery as well as local household moving services were added and later discontinued, but rubbish removal and excavation have always formed the core of Reis Trucking. During the 1990's a building boom on the island generated significant expansion in both the rubbish and excavation businesses, as well as the addition a ready-mix concrete business and a fleet of roll-off trucks and containers to serve the building industry.

Reis Trucking has extensive experience in the installation of new residential and commercial size septic systems and the repair of failed systems. Myles Reis is a certified Title V Septic System Inspector and Installer and the company has earned a strong reputation for performing the highest quality work in strict compliance with Title V and all applicable design documents. We have installed hundreds of septic systems of all types from the simplest conventional gravity systems to the most complex of the new "Alternative" systems that are increasingly specified in the Nantucket Harbor watershed and Madaket Harbor watershed districts and other environmentally sensitive areas of the island.

Reis Trucking has been providing excavation services on Nantucket since 1955. Over the years, the size and scope of our excavation business has grown, as has our fleet of excavation equipment and our cadre of skilled operators and construction supervisors. Our projects range from the simplest driveway repair to full scope excavation for some of the island's largest commercial and residential projects.
