Encourage the adoption and use of ACI products, including but not limited to codes and standards without modification. Support acceptance of sampling, testing, inspection, and installation of concrete and related products and materials; and encourage the use of certification programs developed and administered by professional societies in lieu of programs developed and administered by other entities; and support mandates or otherwise place preference on accreditation of individuals and entities engaged in providing services related to concrete and concrete products.
The ACI Excellence in Concrete Construction Awards celebrate innovation and inspire excellence throughout the global concrete design and construction community. Now more than ever, concrete design and construction projects must integrate creative techniques and technologies to keep up with ever-evolving economic, environmental, and aesthetic demands. The ACI Excellence in Concrete Construction Awards provides a platform to recognize concrete projects at the forefront of innovation and technology, and showcases these projects to inspire excellence in concrete design and construction around the world.
The Excellence in Concrete Construction Awards program honors the visions of creative projects throughout the global concrete design and construction community. The competition is open to all entries that have won at a local level through an ACI Chapter currently running an awards program, those that have been chosen by a Chapter that does not currently have an awards program up and running, or who is sponsored by one of ACI's International Partners. We encourage you to explore submitting an entry through your local chapter if you have not done so in the past.
