Tavares Concrete Company, Inc. (TCCI) was formed in April of 1982 by Armando J. Tavares. With a few good men and some long hard days TCCI was able to pour some curb and sidewalks for various builders in the DC Metro Area. Quality work and dedication to service was the key to slow but steady growth of the company. In the early 1990's TCCI began slipforming its first curb with a used GOMACO slipform curb machine. Again service, quality and word-of-mouth advertising by its clients and construction partners proved essential to continued growth.
