Sauereisen

We've come a long way since 1899, when C. Fred Sauereisen developed the first Sauereisen high-temperature adhesive cement that was used within practically every automobile manufactured in the US (and is still popular for high temperature adhesive applications). Today, our product portfolio has grown to include a complete line of organic and inorganic corrosion-resistant materials of construction for new and rehabilitation applications. Examples of our areas of expertise: restoration of infrastructure, the prevention of corrosion, sulfur bonding compounds and the insulation of high-temperature instrumentation.

Sauereisen manufactures several long-wearing, chemically resistant flooring systems with proven performance. All are resin-based and designed to exhibit low permeability. They are applied by pour-and-spread, trowel, roller or spray. Our systems are ideally suited for process areas, aisles, containment dikes and other areas subject to forklift traffic and spillage of corrosives. Sauereisen products meet the requirements of the Meat and Poultry Inspection Program of the U.S. Department of Agriculture for use in federally inspected food plants.

Sauereisen offers a broad selection of polymer coatings to protect steel, concrete, and other substrates. Our coatings are resin-based, impermeable corrosion barriers for use as stand-alone coatings or high-gloss sealants over other materials. Typical application thickness is 8 mils or more. The products available include epoxy coatings, vinyl esters and urethanes.
