Tennessee Concrete Association

The Tennessee Concrete Association - TCA - was formed in 1986 (originally known as the Tennessee Ready Mixed Concrete Association) with the primary purpose of promoting the increased use of ready mixed concrete in Tennessee. Today, we have 38 ready mix producer member companies representing approximately 70% of the annual ready mix production in Tennessee. The TCA is organized as an IRS 501 C (6) non-profit trade association. The association is governed by a Board of Directors elected annually by the membership.

TCA's Technical Committee has been actively working on this initiative for the past few months and has produced a document that summarizes the requirements of ACI 332 related to concrete driveways in our state. An important component of this initiative is communicating this information to residential homebuilders. So far, TCA has presented this topic to homebuilders associations in Clarksville, Johnson City, and Knoxville, with a presentation scheduled for the Kingsport group in early August.
