Schools

Schools typically have large buildings and parking lots that create considerable storm water runoff. These impervious surfaces make storm water outlets, drainage ditches and detention/retention areas necessary. These areas with concentrated flows are compounded with frequent disturbance by maintenance equipment that can lead to erosion issues. Flexamat® offers a permanent solution for these areas. During a growing season, grass rises through the matting. Flexamat® can be mowed with commercial mowing equipment all while providing support for the turf, which prevents rutting.
