Pathfinder Systems was founded by Larry Hilldore in 1998 through a partnership with TIGER Machine based in Okayama, Japan. The company was formed as a solution to bring new, cutting edge equipment into the North American market. The dedicated sales and service staff of Pathfinder Systems have been successfully installing and servicing concrete products equipment ever since. In addition to the partnership with TIGER, Hilldore purchased MERTS batching equipment in 2014. MERTS, LLC is a high-end equipment manufacturer for ready mix facilities and specializes in designing and building batch plants.

Q: How many cycles per hour can I run? A: Of course it depends on the size of machine and the material, but the average 12 at a time plant is running around 14 second cycles, and a 4 at a time plant will operate around 8 second cycles. Q: Can you change a mold if the mold changer breaks down? A: YES, but once you see the mold changer itself, you will understand why this is very unlikely. Q: Is Tiger Machine the only company that manufactures Machines to produce both Pavers and Blocks? A: To the best of our knowledge, yes.

TIGER Machine was founded in 1950. They sold, repaired, and serviced farm machines from the beginning up until 1963. Their experience from those years convinced them that the key to the success was supplying reliable machinery with first-class service to the customer. In 1963, TIGER was asked by a concrete block manufacturer to design a better Concrete Masonry Unit (CMU) machine to replace an unreliable block machine. TIGER developed a concrete mixer and the first hydraulically operated CMU machine in Japan.
