They are knowledgeable, professional, hard working, and are quick to come up with solutions to unforeseen issues. At Valley Corporation, general contracting is more than an industry, it's a family tradition. Established in 1972 by Del Chapin, we are a third-generation general contracting company dedicated to innovation in the construction industry, empowered employees, and the complete satisfaction of its Nebraska and Iowa area customers. The people on the Valley Corporation team are invested in the success of the entire organization, and we do our best to make sure they are encouraged, provided for, and thriving in their positions at our company.
You won't always have the luxury of a lengthy planning process and long lead times. In the event of a natural or manmade disaster, we're ready to spring into action, providing demolition after fire damage, cleanup after a severe storm, or repairs to sewers and water mains, helping you get life back to normal quickly. A natural disaster or structural emergency can do more than simply down power lines or impede the flow of traffic - they can seriously compromise the stability of large structures and natural water barriers, destroying entire livelihoods and costing millions of dollars in the blink of an eye.
Valley Corporation believes in sustainability, in durability, and in finding smarter ways to keep our projects cost-conscious without sacrificing quality. We put these values into action daily by offering recycled concrete and recycled asphalt services in Omaha, NE and Council Bluffs, IA, alongside other means of diverting construction waste. Roughly 100 million tons of asphalt is reclaimed per year, 95% of which finds its way back to our roads, highways, and parking lots. Recycled asphalt comes from the milled top layer of a driveway or road surface, leaving the sub-base intact; the reclaimed asphalt is pulverized and processed on-site, though it can also be taken off-site for further processing.
Our work doesn't always start as a blank page. Sometimes priming the canvas means erasing what was there before, so our building and structure demolition services encompass the demolition of structures, the removal of support systems, and the screening and removal of earth, concrete, and asphalt. Sometimes the best place to start is from a clean slate. When rehabilitation, renovation, and repair are no longer viable options for your building or structure, the best place to begin anew is through demolition.
We normally think of foundations as something for homes and buildings. However, even the roads on which we drive and the dams and reservoirs that dot our landscape need a good foundation. Our aggregate deliveries - often in the tens of thousands of tons - make that possible. For more than a generation, builders, contractors, and municipalities needing recycled concrete products and concrete crushing in Omaha NE have turned to Valley Corporation. It has also found its way into many of our own projects as well.
Infrastructure often requires supporting structures, including manholes, culvert extensions, concrete dam structures and various forms of structural reinforcement. The concrete structures that are integral pieces of a well-functioning infrastructure require skill, experience, and top-tier materials in order to perform efficiently and last long enough to provide value to the communities they serve. Our concrete structure services, including reinforced concrete box culverts, curb inlets, concrete dams, storm sewers, and various other structures are designed to provide a dependable, durable foundation for a wide variety of general construction projects.

Using our time wisely during this extreme cold. Sometimes the brutal Nebraska weather can shut down a job site. On these days, our team brushes up on their safety in an in-house training session with our Safety Manager, Shane.
