Concrete Structures is a family-owned and operated construction company, founded in 1960 and specializing in cast-in-place concrete construction. We are based in the Chicago metropolitan area but are licensed and have worked successfully in numerous states throughout the Midwest and Sunbelt regions. We have a work force which peaks at over three hundred union tradesmen and women and averages approximately one hundred seventy-five throughout the year.
Concrete Structures was created in 1960 by Tony Aiello, a former officer in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tony's brother-in-law John Mazza, and their associate Al Chapman. The company has been continuously run by the Aiello family ever since. Frank Fanella and Joe Mazza both had instrumental roles in the success and longevity of the company. Today, Tony's son Frank, Frank's brother-in-law Jim, and Frank's daughters Kate and Krissy provide the focus and vision for the company.
As a cast-in-place concrete contractor, we specialize in large-scale structural concrete work, ranging from high-rise buildings to heavy construction such as bridges, tunnels, and airport pavements. We also build high Ff/Fl number slabs-on-ground and provide specialty flooring such as epoxy-coating of existing concrete.
