Colorado Best Block is a manufacturer and distributor of concrete masonry units, or CMU, which are large concrete blocks made from cast concrete. They include aggregates such as scoria, expanded shale, pumice, sand, and fine gravel. The ratios of these aggregates can be manipulated to achieve a variety of standard colors, custom colors, and densities. Due to the demanding and diverse market, our concrete masonry units are manufactured to meet the strength, fire rating, and acoustical expectations of the National Concrete Masonry Association and may be designed for use as both structural and finish walls for a variety of commercial and residential applications.
