John has been in the building industry for over 30 years. He earned his building construction degree from UNF and is a certified general contractor. He founded Legacy Builders of North Florida in 1997 with a vision for building beautiful homes that are tailored to the needs of each client. John's son-in-law, Kris, joined the company in 2017. Kris has a mechanical engineering degree from UF. Together they are passionate about turning a client's dreams and ideas into reality. From the foundation to the finishes we take pride in attention to detail.

When you picture your dream home, what do you see? We want to take that vision and make it a reality. At our first consultation, we will share our home building process and answer your initial questions. We will look at your existing plan or design one to meet your needs. We want to see your inspiration photos, discuss your needs and wants, and determine the project budget. Once engineering is completed and county permits have been issued, it's time to break ground! We will schedule several walk-throughs throughout this phase: electrical, low voltage, trim and built-ins, and final inspection.
