Founded in 1956, and chartered in January, 1957, the Home Builders Association of Dothan & The Wiregrass Area has continued to support housing affairs and residential construction in the Dothan area. Chartered with four counties, Houston, Henry, Barbour and Dale, a satellite chapter was established for Eufaula, Abbeville and Headland. The focus of the Home Builders Association is providing support for safe, affordable housing with financing available for all income levels. This is accomplished by overseeing professional building standards and adequate flow of building materials.
