Henson Building Materials was established in 1938. Our locations are in Forest City, Black Mountain, and Linville, serving the Western North Carolina region, and in 2012, we expanded our services to Upstate South Carolina with our newest location in the Tryon/Landrum area. We offer a full line of building materials, tools, and hardware for professional contractors, remodelers, and do-it-yourself homeowners. In 2007, Henson Building Materials was purchased by Warner Robins Supply Company, a 65 year-old central Georgia building materials and hardware supplier that is a second-generation, family-owned and operated company.
Our Linville location is in the "heart of the high elevations" of Western North Carolina. Just minutes from Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls & Gorge, Boone, Mt Mitchell (tallest elevation east of the Rockies), Blue Ridge Parkway along with many other interesting and beautiful sites. While our facility is wholly contained within a platted resort community originating in the 1890's which limits our physical size, it does not limit our capabilities to service some of the best and most successful builders and picturesque communities in all of the Southeast US.
Our Black Mountain location is located downtown in the picturesque and historic town of Black Mountain, NC. The town is the front porch to the Western North Carolina mountains and only 12 minutes from the beautiful and diverse city of Asheville, NC.
