Downey Home Designs is a residential design service. Our services include designing new homes, designing an addition to an existing home, designing garages, sheds, decks, patios, gazebos, and pool houses. Whether you have your own sketches or photos of your ideas or need us to design it for you, we will accomplish the final goal. The final goal being a full set of blueprints that you can take to your builder and can be used to get any permits neccessary. All of our plans include Title Page, Site Plan, Foundation Plan, Floor Plans, Floor Framing Plan, Roof Plan, Roof Framing Plan, Elevations, Electrical Plan, and any Details or Sections that are needed.
Downey Home Designs was formed in 1999, after the founder, Ryan Downey, discovered that there was a need for a residential design service in the Monticello area. After graduating from Ivy Tech State College with an Associate Degree in Architectural Design and having six years of resdential construction experiance Ryan decided to start designing homes for clients at a reasonable rate. After starting out designing small homes, Downey Home Designs has grown and now includes homes from small to large, home remodels, garages, barns, decks, patios, and pool houses.

Whether you have your own sketches, pictures, ideas, or need to start from scrtach, we can design what you are looking for. Need to update your home or just add more space? We can design a new kitchen or bath or simply just add an addition to your home. If you need to make room in your garage we can design a storage shed, garden shed, unattached garage, or add to your existing garage.
