Either barn style is eye catching with it's Oak board and batten siding. Timber frame barns have a more traditional feel with large exposed timbers while pole barns are a more economical choice. By keeping our company small in size, we are able to keep our overhead low and pass the savings on to our customers. We create kit cabins to be assembled by our customers. We ship material in common lengths, final cuts are made by the builder. Each one of our kit cabins comes with a detailed timber construction manual. This manual is designed to guide the average person through the process of building a log home.

Schutt Log Homes and Mill Works sells Oak pole barn kits and Oak colonial style timber frame barn kits. These kits come in a variety of styles and sizes or custom kits are always an option. The board and batten siding on each of our kits gives the building a rustic charm which can not be achieved with metal siding. We strive to maintain that old school feel while adding a few modern touches.
